Eva and Andy in Laguna Beach

One of our favorite brides yet just got married this past Sunday at the Laguna Beach Hotel. I always say that a wedding is more like a divorce for me when it is all said and done. I already miss speaking with Eva every day going over the logistics of her wedding.

However, everyone did such an amazing job pulling this event together. We all had a blast and are so happy for Eva and Andy. Herman Au did the photography and I just saw a sneak preview. The images he was able to capture that day are so stunning that I can't even put them into words. Here is a behind the scenes preview, but please stay tuned! I will post Herman's photos, which capture the true essence of this event, very soon!!!!!

Great New Venue

Last night we had the pleasure of attending a special showcase event at Rock Circus. This new venue in Hollywood is at the old Fonda Theatre and provides several entertainment options. Hollywood Animals, Revelry, Classic Party Rentals, BBJ Linens, Luna Gardens, and Zen Arts LA were just a few of the vendors that participated in transforming this magnificent space. We had such a great time that I wanted to share it with all of you. After all, what's a party without Lions, Tigers, and Monkeys!!!

Here's a sneak peak:

Paper Talks!!!

Last night I attended an event for Your Wedding Day Magazine and found a new love, Fanciful Designs! This wonderful artist shop can be found on the one and only Etsy. Owner Noel puts a French inspired twist on her many creations. Ranging from the most fabulous paper flowers and paper mache heels, to monogrammed vintage journals. These unbelievable creations can be used in various ways to add a unique and very special touch to your next occasion. Look for many of her items featured in the "Romantic Parisian" set design in the upcoming edition of Your Wedding Day Magazine.

What a fun twist on the napkin ring!

These Journals would make a great Guest Book

Or try using these these plaster covered vintage books as table numbers.

And imagine how amazing your wedding ring shot will look inside of this adorable paper mache shoes!

A tip for the groom

So, I actually had a groom ask me a very interesting question today. He wanted to know when he should have his groomsmen get fitted for their tuxedos. I am sure many of you have this same question. So, I figured I would share the answer with all of you. As a rule of thumb it is best to have your groomsmen get fitted (or registered)about three to five months before the wedding. Also, your style choices should be finalized no later than one month after registering. Then approximately one to two months before the wedding the order finalized.
